I just wanted to check with you the following.
We have paid money for US visa to HDFC bank for my husband’s visa. In a day or two our entry will be available online. As told by our travel agent, the further process is as follows: the agent will take a print out of the online application once we get an visa appointment and give it to my husband for signing. Once my husband signs, then the form will be submitted to VFS.
My husband is an army officer. He is currently in a remote area of Kashmir. He is planning to come on 31st May to Pune for visa purpose as we would like to leave for US on 12th if he gets his visa . We wanted to take his visa appointment for 3rd or 4th June. It means, the documents need to be submitted by 26th or 27th May to VFS. Even if my husband sends the document by courier, it will take minimum three to four day to arrive in Pune. Then he cannot go for visa on 3rd or 4th May.
Can we take a print of the Visa Application Form once we get an appointment date, scan it and mail it to my husband?
Can he then takes a print of the scanned copy , sign the same, again scan it and mail it to me for submitting to VFS? Would this be acceptable?
In a nutshell, do you accept if an application is signed, scanned and print out is taken?
