Would like your advice regarding inviting a friend of mine in India to visit me in the US for about 2 weeks. Is this something that I can sponsor from the US or are there any risks associated while getting a visitor visa ?? can you offer any suggestions regarding getting the visitor visa in this scenario.

My friend just wants to see some places in the US. He is working in India and is married but will be travelling alone. I am willing to sponsor his travel and he can also sponsor the travel himself. I am on a H1B visa in the US.
