Does anyone know if there is a difference between mandatory admin processing vs admin processing - are they the same.
My father is still awaiting the visa , it has been more than 2 weeks and the response he got from the consulate was that the case is pending mandatory administrative processing and they will be contacted when the processing is done, how long does it take , he had applied for a tourist visa and has been to the US 5 times earlier.
