Hello, i am a homemaker in US and have EAD, i and my husband are sponsoring for my sister and grandmother's visa. They are applying together. Below are some of the questions i think they'll ask. Please answer them and also post anything else you can think of. Thanks


1. How would you assure that you'll come back?

2. Why is your mother not applying with your grand mother?

3. Why are you going with your grand mother?

4. Why do you want to go to US?

Yes, these do sound like logical questions that the VO might ask.

But how are we (who don't know a thing about you or your background) supposed to give you a "good" answer for a question like "Why is your mother not applying with your grand mother?"

Now you and your family are the people who obviously know the right answers.

So if your grandmother and sister are not planning on staying back in the US and do intend to go back then what is the harm in telling the VO the truth.

Provide as much evidence in the answers of their social and economic ties to India.
