Question on B2 visa

Hi

I am trying to invite My Parent and my Niece (she is 6 years old) to US.
She is doing her school with my parents and my niece got approval from her school to go on a long vacation.

I have prepared all the required documents for the invitation.
I am planning to get a written letter from my niece's school regarding the approval for the leaves.

Do I need to get any letter from my niece's parents too?
I would like to know if there would be any potential questions or rejection reason for my niece's visa.

Any help or pointers would be good.

You can get one letter from her parents that they have no objection to this.

I called the 'Visa Information and Assistance' @ 202-663-1225, to check about this case

The Visa assistant told that the minor's parents need to accompany [in-person] for her Visa interview.

Did anyone else had a success such scenario -
Invite a family minor member who is not a direct blood-relative; without the in-person appearance of both the parents of the minor child?

I am not sure if I can get both my niece's parent for the Visa interview appearance. If one of them cannot appear then I can get the no-objection letter for the other parent.

Any help/ information would help me.

Rules are in place due to kidnapping across borders. No objection letter might work along with a copy of their passport. Again, it all depends on the VO.

We produced the Study Certificate from the school and a No Objection Letter from the parents. It helped and she got the visa! Thanks for the advice.
