B1/B2 Issues

Hi All,

I hold B1 visa and visited USA couple of times for business purpose. Now I want to apply for B2 for my self and family. Will my B1 visa will be revoked if I apply for B2 visa?

If i get b2 visa I believe my B1 visa will be revoked is that true?

Please let me know as I am in confusion.

You can have as many visas as possible. No valid visa (unexpired) is canceled.

Hi

Thanks for the quick response. I just have one more question. I hold B1 business visa for 10 years...but when my family went to get B2 visa they were denied visa...2 times...i am thinking it might have to do with My visa since my wife mentions that we all want to go to USA for tourism purpose....i am thinking because i have b2 visa they are not issuing visa to them since i can not travel for tourism on b1 visa...

would it be easier if we all apply for B2 tourism visa...?

what do you think?
