Visitor Visa to parents while my L1 visa is not ready

Hi

My company is applying for L1 visa to me. Petition is also not ready. I am planning to take my parents to US along with me. But my L1 Visa/petition is not ready. How do I apply for their visitors VISA while I am not in US. What documents should I produce to get their Visitor VISA.

You can never apply for your parents visa. They have to apply on their own, always.

I guess I need to sponsor them right?

I read some where that I need to send invitation letter, show my bank balance in US bank. Also during personal interview they will be ask about ther stay in US who will take care of them. who will take care of the tickets and insurance etc etc...

If my parents can sponsor themselves then what is the process and required documents.
