My parents visiting visa was successful in Hyd on 06-22-09.Interview was in telugu.
The following are the questions asked.
VO.what do you do?
father:farming
VO.how many acres you have?
answered
VO.how many times your son came to India in 7yrs
answered
VO.how many children you have
answered
VO.do you have relatives?
A.yes we have relatives in India not in America.
VO.congratulations you got Visa and visa will be mailed by post in 5 days.

She didn't ask for anysupporting documents.

Question - wait time

Hi,
Could you please let me know how easy/difficult it was for you to find an appotintment

I'm trying to book an appointment in Telufu for last 2 week, but unable to find a slot

It was not that difficult to find out appointment.
check vfs website 2 or 3 times for day.

Is there a particular time of the day that is good for finding a slot ? Few are suggesting that there is a particular time of the day during which they clean-up the slots, any idea of the same ?

Or just let me know at what time did you try to get an appointment

Try to check on Friday's from 12 p.m in india timings.The slots will be opened then if you miss them you have to wait untill next friday.

How do you know?

I checked for 3 consecutive weeks that is the day I found the visa dates.Last week they opened on thursday as July 3 rd is holiday for the consulate
