Hi,

I am on H1 visa in USA. I would like to invite my mother to USA. She is 70 years. She is not in good health that she can come to Mumbai and appear for the interview. We do have drop box facility and we will send all the docs through that. Also she has problem in speech because of her health.

I am also planning to call my sister (40) with her to assiste during the travel and to take care when she is here. She has strong family ties and we can produce enough docs that she need to come back.

Could anybody advise/ share experiences please on the following.

1. How can we take care of personal interview if my mother is called there ?

2. What would be the best reason to mention on the invitation letter both to the consulate and visitor ?

1. If both called for interview, both can go together.
Else only your mother has to go for interview.
