Hello,
I just got approved for H-1B second 3 year extension valid through April 2012. My first visa stamping in my passport has expired end of May 2009. I have to yet get my second H-1B visa stamped in my passport. I have NOT applied for my Green Card process as of today.
I am single, the only child for my parents, not married and have completed my Masters also in a USA University.
I was wondering if sponsoring my parents first time for US tourist visa is better than my parents applying for tourist visa on their own by themselves as if they are visiting USA for vacation. Can you tell me what are the pros and cons of each are? Which one has better chances of getting an approved 10 year multiple entry tourist visa to USA on first attempt?
My dad is an established doctor in Hyderabad (new US consulate opened here recently) and my mom is a house-wife.
Please advice. Also, would it be a problem if I applied for Green Card process prior to my parents applying for Tourist visa? Can it be tracked?
THANK YOU.
