To Whom It May Concern,
I am the Command Master Chief of a Sailor who is engaged to a German citizen. He wants her to come stay with him in the US until there wedding next June when all the families can get together. Therefore, a Fiancée' Visa wouldn't work because they would have to marry within 3 mos. I was looking into the situation and it appears she could perhaps get a B1/B2 Visa. Will that work for a stay of more than 6 months? I understand from reading about it that she couldn't work. That isn't ideal for them, but it is manageable. She apparently has a college degree…but I'm not sure that will help in this instance. As you can probably guess, being together is their main concern. I am looking to give them the best advice so they can be together and still marry in June of next year.
Anyway, any help you can give in this area would be a tremendous help,
