H1B expiring soon, applied for Mom and Dad's visitor visa. Urgent!!!!!

Hi,

My H1B will be expiring soon and I have applied for my Mom and Dad's visitor visa. They have their visa interview on 29th. I have applied for my H1B extension but haven't yet got any receipt for application. Will this cause their visa denial? Should I postpone their visa interview date? Please reply soon.

This will probably not cause denial. They will need to show property, ties with home country.

Thanks for information. My H1B will be expiring in Dec2009. Will they get their visitor visa till Dec2009 only? or they may get for 10 years also? Please reply.

Your visa has no ties to their visa. It depends on the VO and how they convince them of the ties to home country. Sometimes, VOs give single entry visa for 2-6 months or multiple entry for 10 years. It all depends.
