Please help w/Visitor Visa???

I would like to know If my wife from the Philippines is in The USA on a "B2 Visa" and during the time we are using her "B2 Visa" Her "K3 Spouse Visa" is approved and done processing, does she have to go back to the Philippines to finish the K3 Visa or will they just change her status ?
