I got my visa stamped... Was stuck at vfs and bluedart... You please keep on calling the consulate people... That may also be the case with you... Also mine was F1...

I hope you will get it soon... Please let us know if there is any new update with your case...

221 g blue slip L1 Blanket

Hi all.
Can any one help me regarding 221g visa refusal process? I was issued a pink 221g form at hyderabad consulate on 12th of Nov. I was asked to send lot of doucments to one mail id. the updated PDF list (16th nov) does not contain my case ID. It has crossed the sequence of 20093147300001 I donno what has happend. My passport is with US consulate only. Can any one tell me what is happening in my case! pls................ im new to this and it is the first time i attended VISA interview. kindly post ur responds to me [email protected]. I have onsite opportunity in my hand but because of this think i may loose it... donno what to speak...

221 g blue form, Fresh H1B, Passport retained

Hi all.
Can any one help me regarding 221g form against fresh H1B.
I attended H1B interview with my wife (for H4) and after asking couple of questions VO issued a Blue 221g form at hyderabad consulate on Nov 22,2009.VO retained application forms as well as our passports and said check the status after 1 week. Only Admin Processing is checked on blue 22g form and he didn't ask for any original doc for verification either.
Let me know what exactly does this means.

Happy to inform you all that I and my wife received the passports with Visa H1/H4 stamped. Don't worry everyone will get it stamped it's just a matter of time. I received passport on Dec 16,2009. Appeared for interview on Nov.22,2009. My case number was on Page 16 in pending status and all of sudden I received passports on Dec 16

Attended L1B in chennai in AUG 2010 and VO retained my passport, no response tilldate

Hi All,

I had attended my L1B visa interview at Chennai consulate in Aug 2010. The interview went on good, but at the end the VO said that the visa is approved but it will to go through admin processing and handed me a pink slip (221g). I was asked to go to another counter, where all my documents and passport were taken. The officer asked me to track the status online and it wud take 5 - 6 weeks for the passport to come. The pink slip states that we can contact embassy if it crosses 12 week period.

I have patiently waited all the while and its been almost 11 weeks. Can any one advise / suggest what i need to do next. The last 3 months were the darkest of my life and i still have no clue on my future. Will i get the visa or at least my passport back?
should i need to take any other steps?

Hello Everyone,

My sister had attended her H1B interview(first time) at Chennai Consulate and was given a 221g form requesting various documentation from employer. The Visa officer has also said to drop all these documents along with passport in VFS drop box. Can you let me know what are the chances for my sister to get visa?
