Hi gurus,
My unmarried sister-in-law (age 23) wants to visit us for a couple of months in the US.
She had a job in the IT sector but got recently laid off. She's got a good bank balance.
My mother-in-law is currently in the US on a visitor visa and is slated to go back November end.
My father-in-law also has his visa approved but he is still back in India.
Now I know its hard to get visa for unmarried single girls but I have been hearing about
visas getting approved for single guys & students etc recently, especially due to swine flu
and economic recession in the US, so US govt wants more tourists and students.
What are the chances for my sister-in-law? Does it help to emphasize that she has marriage plans
upon return? Would a rejection hurt her chances for a future US student visa? (she has plans to
apply for MS later)
Appreciate any help on this!
