My friend was denied a visa yesterday. My mom and I are her sponsors. She just wants to visit me for a while. The reason her visa was denied, they said, because of not enough ties to her home country.
What can she say or what documents should she bring in order to help convince the consular officer that she has plenty of ties to her country.
-she owns a pharmacy with her mom
-she has a mother, brothers, and a sister, and tons of nieces
-she is a licenced pharmacist with a medical degree
However, she is 37 and single, BUT she has made it very clear she is not into marriage and pretty much hates men. I know this will have no effect on the consular officer, but is there any way she can convince the officer she's not gonna go here to get married?
We were originally shooting for a 6 month visa, but would a 3 month visa make it a little easier to believe she would come back to her country?
Any help would be wonderful. Thanks so much!
