reapply for visitor visa

My parents visa both above 60,was rejected on 5th Aug on 214b. They were not even asked a single question by the consular. Their passport now has rejected stamp on it. I heard that if there is rejected stamp on the passport you won't get the visa even if you reapply. Please reply if anyone has the similar experience.

There is no such rule. You may get visa if you reapply.

Can u please tell me how old ur parents r because my in-laws were rejected two times and they r 50 and 45 respectively.
