Visitor Visa for Grand Mother

Hello,
My grand mother got visa last year through drop box for 6 months and she stayed with us for 1 year (with extension).

We want to sponsor her visa again. Does the extension be any kind of problem or the fact that she is coming within a year, again? Any suggestions or comments welcome.

Translator?

Hi,
We were not able to find an appointment early enought WITH the translator. However, we could get one without the translator. She knows Tamil. Do you think the officer or anyone around in the consulate office area would be kind enough to help her out? Has any one faced similar issues?
