      What happens at consulate ?

Assuming that you have all the documents in order, (please do check docs required - better even post the docs you think you have and I can verify! )

Be aware that all prospective applicants have been assigned the same timing, so when you get there you will have the whole morning crowd there, so please have your parents prepared for a long wait ! that means have a good meal etc etc.

first off you get to the TTK counter people, who will check your documents, take the application fee.

Next off comes the visa counter, hopefully you will use the interpreter, (please do )

With documents, I will only say this, if have the document show an attempt to show it, don't wait for them to ask for it, which means, Where does your Daughter work, please slide over the employment letter, you will either be told that's OK or the officer will view it.

Finally, if asked to pay for visa - it has been approved.

Though not complete in every respect this should give some insight into the process.

      Good luck !

          More info.

          1. Will there be any seats for applicants to sit or do they have to stand for the whole time.

          2. Will they provide any kind of token to the applicants?

          Thanks.

I read/reread your email, I could not find the word - please :-)

            Anyways:

            a) Past the ttk counter where you pay TTK specific charges I think around 250, you will get to the US consul counter - here you pay the 4300 fee, and will be given a token.

            b) Seating is available - yes..

              again doubts..

Assuming my parents token is called right now. They go to the counter. Now what? should my parents give the I-134 or DS-156 or just passport ? Or should they wait until he demands specifically what he wants?

I hate to get these kind of doubts in mind... but its practical.

              Please help guys!
              Thanks in advance

Don't worry too much. There are lots of people just like your parents over there. Just follow the crowd.
