Hi,
My Mom is 52 years old and has been to the U'S once before on a 6 month visa, they did not overstay and left in 5 months. Her visitors visa was rejected twice under section 214b the second time the officer asked my mom
the following question
Q :When was the last time ur son visited u.
A :My mom replied saying he visited us in 1999 and
then we visited him in 2001-2002.
The officer replied saying visa cannot be granted since ur son hasn;t visited u in a long time.
Any suggestions on how I could proceed in this case, will a letter from a congressman/senator help in this case.
Please advice.
Thanks,
Sunil.
