HELLO!
I'm a medical doctor, indian national whose parents are US green card holder and ,they are in USA, they had filed an immigration petition for me in January2006. I'm single and presently located in india.
I'd cleared my USMLE Step1 and Step2CK exam from india. I'm working in India as medical doctor since last two years. I haven't saved much in these years so i'd not be able to sponser my trip to US so my parents or some known would be sponsering me for the USMLE Step2CS trip.
I was on student visa in Canada from January 2006 to April 2006 and return back to India with in the time limit of my visa.
I'd completed my medical education from Russia i was there for seven years and in January 2005 i applied for US visa in US embassy MOSCOW but got refusal. will it affect my visa interview this time?
Now i want to go to US to take USMLE Step2CS exam and i want to know what are my chances of getting the visa?
How a person on behalf of whom an immigration petition is filled can convince visa officer that he'd return back to his home country? I do not own any property in India or anywhere else. My bank balance is also almost nothing.
Will it be fine if the exam trip would be sponsered NOT by my parents but someone else (friend of my parents), who can show a lot of funds?
Should i say that i'd stay with my parents during this trip or i'd put up in hotel? exam would be in LA and my parents stay at Sanfrancisco.
Should i tell visa officer that i'd meet my parents or not?
thanks for taking time to read whole this stuff I'D REALLY APPRECIATE ANY GENUINE EFFORT MADE BY ANYONE TO HELP ME OUT OF THIS. :-)
