What type of invitation letter "a green card holder+student+intern"use to invite Mom

Greetings,

my question is different. I'm a green card holder who is a student and since I'm intern I don't think I can sponsor my Mom.(what is your idea?) (my filed tax for 2006:$3000, 2007:$0, 2008:$10000
so my mother will sponsor herself.

My question is whether you know if I can ask the INTERNATIONAL office to give me an invitation letter or I write it by myself. or if i can send 2 letters to my mom, one invitation from myself and one from international office to show to the consulate?

1-Do you think I would better write a letter to the visa officer as well without mentioning at all about the support (Since I won't support financially my Mom)?
2-if "yes" woud it be better that my manager write a letter to the visa officer stating that i'm an intern with $20/h?( I'm not sure he will do that)
