about birth certificate

First of all i would like to thank you for doing a great job.

As i am the sponsor, do i need to send my birth certificate to my mom as she is going to attend the interview for visitor visa at Kolkota consulate.

I am going to invite & sponsor my parents who are in Chennai and so would be attending the personal appearance in Chennai Counsulate.
