new h 1 - visitors visa

I have read all the visit visa links on immihelp. But iam writing because I still dont have answers for my questions below.
I am a student on O.P.T. working past 5 months and my company has got my h1 approval from ins. the h 1 starts this Octobre - but I have not yet got my visa stamped with the h 1.
1. What is the earliest I can get my parents to visit me?
2. Do I have to get my H 1 visa on my passport before I invite them? Do you have any suggestion?
3. Is there a requirement or recommendation for number of years/months that the sponsor should be on h 1 before parents can visit?
4. Do i have to show bank balance on checking account or savings account?
