Can I sponsor my aunt and uncle to visit US?

Hi - I read the FAQ and all sections of site before asking this 'might seem naive' question but all or most of the content on the website and forums relate to sponsoring Parent's visa and not about sponsoring visa of a relative; hence the question :

I have been on H1B visa in US since 3 years and wish to call my mom's sister and her husband (around 55 years in age) to visit us for a month and tour US. Is this case significantly different than sponsoring tourist visa of parents just because my aunt and uncle are not my direct family? Are their chances of getting the visa any weaker because their sponsor is not their child but a nephew ?

everybody HELP... i'm not currently holding a job and i intend to go to the US with my parents, it's their first time to go to the US as immigrant.. my brother is willing to shoulder my expenses during my stay in the US and he'll send me an invitation letter.. do i have a greater chance of getting a US tourist visa? please reply my querry.. thanks

I am making the case strong by proving my relatives have financial and family ties in india ...
also
would return tickets booked before the interview will help confirming that the people will come back coz they already paid money for return ticket ! ....or it would be making it weaker , making interviewer think that why are they so sure that they will get the visa ???

can I give invitation letter to my wife's mother?

I am going to sponsor for my wife's mother (since my wife is on H4). In this case, can I give her the invitation letter, or should the invitation letter be still from my wife?
