Should i send i-134 for friend in India

I am on h1-b visa. A friend who lives in delhi and works in GE wants to visit USA.He is around 33 and single. he has sufficient income and ties to india.

Should be apply for the visitor visa on his own or would it be better if i send him an i-134 affidavit of support and invite letter. Will his visa have higher chance of gettin rejected if i send the letter or no?

If he can take care of it himself, it is better to do so.

Since your friend is capable of sponsoring himself and can provide adequate evidence of his social/economic ties to India I would suggest that he sponsor himself.
You can however send him an invitation letter.
