-130 status vs extension of B-2

Good morning,

I was @ your website and looking for a help if i need to request
extension.

My mother came in this country with 10 years multiple B-2 visa from mumbai.

After she arrived I filed I-130 for her. Received a I-797C notice from
USCIS dated 1st April,2009.Her 6 months visa expires on August 20th. USCIS case status shows 5 months processing time as of April 30th. Do I have to request for her extension using form I-539? I cannot find this information on their website.

Please provide some helpful information.

Have you already filed her I-485?

Yes, I filed I-485 after I received my I-797C notice.

You don't have to extend her B-2 in that case.
