    Hi,

    My Mom is appearing for a visitor visa interview next week.

    My current status is as follows :

    H1B visa holder, visa expires Oct1 2004, extension (7th year) applied and pending, I-140 for permenant residency applied and pending).

    My sister is in US and is a green card holder, my BIL is a US citizen.

    My parents had visited US in 2001 and were granted single entry visa for 6 months. My sister/BIL had sponsored for their visa then.

    I am sponsoring their visa now, what are her chances of getting visa, Any advice appreciated.

    Following are the documents that I have sent, are there any more documents that I need to send ?

    1. Notarized Affidavit of Support I-134.

    2. Official Bank Statement, copies of monthly statements for five months

    3. Sponsorship Letter addressed to American Consulate General, Chennai.

    4. Invitation Letter addressed to Sponsor’s parents.

    5. Sponsor’s Employment Verification Letter from Cisco Systems

    6. Copies of Sponsor’s recent Pay Stubs from Cisco Systems.

    7. Copies of Sponsor’s Income Tax Returns filed for last three years [2003, 2002, 2001].

    8. Copy of Sponsor’s Passport including Blank Pages.

    9. Copies of Sponsor’s Visa Status Documents (following included) :

    •Current H1B -797 issued for current H1B Visa.
    •Current I-94
    •H1B extension Application receipt (applied in July pending approval].
    •7th Year H1B extension application pending approval along with associated documents.
    •Approved LCA for Permanent Residency application
    •Receipt of I-140 Application filed for Permanent Residency [I-140 applied in March 2004 and pending approval].
