My brother has a invite letter from a organization to visit them for a conference.

I will be taking care of his lodging and boarding while he is here. I have sent the requried documents required for visitor visa to him.

He is working in India and is married and will be comming alone.

He has been rejected a tourist visa 3 years back. This time he is trying for B1. What precautions he should take care.

I am a green card holder.

Any advices will help.

what is the convention these days, for my brother they took the passport , does it mean the visa is given. Please advice

If they took passport during the interview, that means visa is given.
