Hello,
My husband's H1 (first 3 years) is to going to expire on Nov 1 2009. We are going to apply for extension soon. Meantime we are trying to get tourist visa for my parents. We are expecting them to visit in 1st week of Dec 2009. We have some doubts regarding applying visa for my parents while our visas getting renewed..
1. Do we have to wait till our renewed visas arrive? we feel like we are gonna have a short period for applying visa for my parents after Nov..as we are expecting their visit in Dec..
2. Or do we just start the process of theirs along with our, like we can present documents that our visas are under renewing process..and so we are legal status and we have a right to sponsor them during this process.
3. How far tourist visa applied under these circumstances have a chance of getting rejected or what type risks are involved?
