What exactly is tracker? Any more info on this will be helpful.

Tracker allows applicants to track where exactly their application is in process.

As or visitor visa tracker, it allows people to know where others applying, how much visa they are getting, how many are getting rejected, how much stay duration they are getting at port of entry etc. In other words, it allows visitor to track entire stage of his visa process.
Later if that person wants to extend visitor visa, there is visitor visa extension tracker that lets others know how much time it is taking to get extension etc.
