Sorry about your dad. But your mother's visa has expired. There is no chance of her getting an extension.

I think it was wrong of you to not inform USCIS about your father's passing.

The USCIS is not concerned with your mother's or your emotional needs. They follow rules/regulations.

You have got to think long term now. If you would like your mother to get approved for a US visa the next time she applies it would be best for her to return to India as soon as possible.
