Can you please let me know more information? was her original consulate was Calcutta only? My parents have an interview in Calcutta on Aug 13. I pary to Gid that they get the visa because I am expectingf in Sep. Their consulate is Bombay but they are going to Calcutta instaed, We thought of taking this chance.

Was interview officer a lady? American/Indian? WHat questions did they ask? Anything in particular to keep in mind?

hi sweetie,
my mom had to calcutta becoz her passport was made in jharkhand. the lady who took her interview was an indian becoz my mom had asked for hindi translator. she only asked my mom that suppose if she get the chance to stay in america for 5 yrs then will she manage.my mom said no becoz she need to come back as her whole family is back in india and she just need to meet me and visit few places. she did not mention my pregnacy. other questions were simple. for further question mail me. good luck
