In-Laws visitor visa sponsorship dilema.....

I sponsored visitor visa for my parents and grandmother in March 2004, got visa and are here with us. I need to sponsor my In-laws and am wondering about who should sponsor.

Is it OK if i am sponsor them or its good if my wife sponsors them, she is on a maternity leave and pay stubs can be a problem. I would appreciate if anyone can give us advice on this issue. Thanks....
