Hi,
I had applied for an H1b visa stamping last october and was then issued a form 221g for admin processing. Since then I have tried to contact the cosulate twice but they have told me that the processing is still undergoing. I now wanted to visit USA and not sure whether there is any point in applying and whether they will reject my visa on the grounds that I have another visa already getting processed or otherwise will my visitor visa application override my other H1B visa stamping application. Also, FYI I applied for a visitor visa 2 years back and was rejected on the grounds of insufficient ties with the country where I am living and working.
