Misplaced Birth Certificate

Hi,

I'm sponsoring my parents' visa. I've all required documents but I've misplaced my original birth certificate. I have photocopies of it. I have matriculation certificates. I read about alternatives on this site but wanted to know if there is any other alternative. I'm running short of time for getting a duplicate issued.

Should I reschedule the visa appointment to allow for time to get all the required papers in place? Or is there any other set of documents that I can provide?

Get another one from the same place that issued the birth certificate initially.
