:( Moms Visa refused 2nd time, 2 daughters in USA
Hi,
My Moms visa got rejected for the second time today.
The first time I was a student and had invited her for my graduation.
Today when she went for her interview the officer looked at all my H1B visa papers and bank statements & my Mom's property and in the end asked how many kids she has and where they are...
She said she had another daughter in the US on F1.
The officer told my Mom that she is not eligible for a visa at this time and rejected her application.
What should I do? Even if I apply again the situation is not going to change as my sister still has 3-4 years of her PHD.
I have an American Boyfriend....so should I invite her for my wedding? IS this a good reason for getting a visa?
Please help! What should I do to get my mom here for a short visit....
