Average Balance for Visitor Visa

Hello,
What is the average balance required for visitor visa?..Is the Average Balance very important?My Parents are going for a visitor visa in Mumbai consulate..i have a good current balance but the Average balance is just 2.5k$...

But does low average balance cause a chances of rejection of the visa??How strongly do they look into Average balance or do they just look at the current balance?
