i took an appt in chennai online

1]do i have to send anything bymail abt the appointment to chennai consulate or my mom.or is the confirmation no is enough .does she has to take anything along with her for proof of her appt for that day.thank you

2]and since she is applying for her visa first time and she is a widow I also want to get a senator letter too just in case .as we know mor no of widows r being rejected. as u all know i have 2 unmarried sisters too and my mom has property too.I am looking for a sample formatt of senators/congressmans letter PLSE!!!!

2. Don't worry about senator/congressman for first time.

hi there,
u need not send anything by post to chennai consulate..ur mom has to take all the documents u have prepared and what she has prepared with the online appt proof.
my mom is also a widow so i had taken Congressman's letter (which was very easy to get).She got the Visa...i don't know if it helped...but nothing wrong in sending an other document isn't it?.and abt the format...they will know what to write...u just have to give them ur mom's name..passport number ur name ext...Hope this helps...

And yes...for the death certificate.
