Sponsoring Visitor visa when you are on I-94

Hi,

I had come to US on dec 2008 on L1 visa and while entering into US my I-94 was stamped till dec 2011. So currently im on I-94 (Visa has expired on Aug 6th). I was wondering if I could still sponsor Visa for my parents.
