Hi
I plan to get my parents visitor visa to be with me for sometime. I need some quick advise from you.
Me and my brother both are in the US on H1b, and I am going to sponsor the trip of my parents to visit me in the US for few months.
Do they need to mention that both of their kids are in the US? If so, do we need to carry my brother's legal status documents too? It is me who have prepared all their documents as mentioned on immihelp.com / VFS, and so far there is no document which asks how many kids they have and if they are in the US etc. Should it be mentioned in the invitation letter that they will visit both the kids? I am worried if this can become a ground to refuse my parents visitors visa that all their kids are in the US.
Also my father is retired, and my mom is housewife. Both of them are in their old age (Dad 74, Mom 64). They own a house in my hometown. What all documents they should carry to prove that they will return. It is so sad to see that US consulate are refusing visas to ones' parents who are genuinely going to visit them. What's the best course to follow here to avoid a similar situation?
Please advise soon. My parent's appointment is near.
Once again, thanks a lot for all your wonderful help.
Regards
