marriage certificate for visitor visa

I have 1 query, I am planning to call my parents this year end. Their marriage certificate was taken by the Indian passport office for processing their Passport. Now they do not have their marriage certificate for Visa interview. Please help with valuable solution.

Hi,

When my parents visited, nobody asked for marriage certificate.

So i guess it should be fine if they do not have it.
