i have a one medical international conference in march 2010, by profession i m doctor and had secured job in india, my wife is doing post graduation in anaesthesia, aprox.how many month before should i apply for visa? i havent visit any country outside india, one of my friend is sponsoring me who is doctor in US in a good position, is it OK. or i should self sponsored?.i have a inviatition letter of conference and official registration for the same with all registration fee paid which is around 1000USD, planing to visit US for 15days,how is mine chances of Visa?Comment

No one can predict the chances for a visa. As long as you prove financial and familial ties to the home country, a visa is possible but never guaranteed.
