  • Qtns regarding HDFC Bank and New Delhi Consulate

    Hi,

I need to apply for visitor visa for my uncle and aunt. I have sent the required documents and will be taking the appointment on my own online. I need help with the following:

    1. Since both my uncle and my aunt are coming, do they need to give separate DD to HDFC bank, or can they give a combined check? In any case, do I need to fill two separate DS-156 forms or a single form? DS-156 form has a section that asks questions about "Person(s) traveling with you". So, if I fill a single DS-156 form for my uncle, and mention my aunt's name in the "Person traveling with you" section, is it enough?
    2. They live in Jaipur. Can they pay the HDFC fees in Jaipur, and go for the interview in New Delhi, or do they have to pay even the fees in New Delhi HDFC branch?
    3. There are 2 consulates in New Delhi. Which one should they go for the visa interview?
    4. Do they have to send any document(s) in advance to the consulate in New Delhi, or they need to carry everything on the day of the interview?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

You can give a single cheque to HDFC, you would need to have D-156 filled for each of the Applicant.. you can have a group interview schedule
