How to Tell - Martial Status Change

Hi,

I will be applying for a visitor visa and when I apply for that person, she will be "SINGLE" and when she goes to inteeview, she will be "MARRIED". Since we have to take appointment atleast few weeks before interview, she dont have option to wait after marriage for applying for VISA (i.e. filling in online application D-156, D-157 and taking appointment).

Should we mention "single" OR "married" in the application.

Should the application show only what our status is when we go to interview?

Your status when you book the appointment should indicate your status as of the date of the appointment/interview.
