Urgent visa needed. Need to go to Delhi.. what docs needed ?

Hi,
My parents are from chennai area (residing in hyderabad). I read that urgent visa seekers can go to Delhi and get visa.

Do they need any additional document from me to prove the urgency ..like some valid reason or something ?

Will they be have to answer this question as to why they have approached Delhi instead of Chennai and whats the urgency ?

demonstration of urgency for urgent visa seekers.

the link says : "can demonstrate an urgent need to travel before an appointment is available at the US Consulat".

How do we "demonstrate" the urgency ? What kinds of urgency can be demostrated ? I need them here as soon as possible, because we are expecting a baby in the last week of july.

While this is subjective, that is not considered urgent. That is routine.

Urgent needs are something like someone has died. Or something major has happened.

Did your parents get their Visa when they went to Delhi, What questions were asked, Would appreciate if you can let me know what docs you prepared and how did you prove your urgency.
