Do parents need to visit embassy again?

My parents have a 10 year multiple entry visa which they got on their last visit in Aug. 2002

My question is, since visitor visa rules have changed, do they need to go to Chennai again or can they book their tickets and come & visit us?

They don't have to go to embassy again. They can come in anytime they want.
