Hi, thanks for the great website you have! I have a few specific questions about the B-2 visa.
My wife (green card holder) and I (natural born US citizen) would like for my mother-in-law to come for a short period of time (2 weeks to a month) to visit our family. She does not qualify by herself for a B-2 (she has interviewed for a B-2 before, and was rejected on income and housing concerns). What are the requirements for us to be able to invite my mother-in-law on a B-2? Can my parents (natural born US citizens, both employed at $50k+ per year) sponsor my mother-in-law if needed? What legal responsibilities are assumed by a sponsor in this case?
Thanks for your help,
