  • Visitor Visa Denied

    Dear Sir,

I'm a 28 yrs old guy (unmarried) from Mumbai. I've been denied the US B2 visa a week back. the VO didn’t check any of my well prepared documents (Sponsorship letter, Bank statement, IT return & my educational certificate) . here is what the VO asked.

    Me: good morning
    VO: Good morning
    VO: Your application please
    VO: Your name
    Me: ZZZ
VO: Why do you wanna go to US?
Me: to see my uncle (green card holder from last 30 yrs.) & aunt (she's a white american national) both have sponsored me
VO: have you ever been out of india?
    Me: NO
    VO: What do you do?
Me: Work with my dad in his Garment Business from last 8 yrs.
VO: How much do you earn?
Me: I get a share from my fathers business
VO: What would be your annual personnel income?
Me: 4-5 lacs (I could have say 10-12 lacs as I really don’t get a fixed amount. our monthly turnover would be around 3-4 lacs)
VO: has any of your family member ever been to US?
Me: yes, my mom & dad, my uncles & aunts with their kids (all on tourist visa)
VO: Who's going along with you?
    Me: my parents
VO: When did your parents travel to US?
    Me: couple of years back
VO: When was last time your uncle visited you in india?
    Me: 1 year back
VO: Why do you wanna go only at this time?
Me: my uncle is been calling me to US from last 4 yrs. and now its diwali holidays (bad answer the actual reason was that it’ll be a off season in business and I wanna see some places in US)

at this time I thought I almost got the visa…. but wait

VO: (after taking a pause) Sorry, you will not get the visa this time
Me: (shocked as no one in my family ever denied the visa) What? Why?
VO: Handed me the rejection letter, Thank you
    Me. You are welcome

Now here is situation a travel consultant has suggested me to ask my aunt to send a letter to US consulate requesting them to grant me the visa as she will take full responsibility of me coming back to india on time. is this gonna help?
