  • H1B expiring - question about visitor visa

    Hi,

My parents are planning to visit Sept'04 - Dec '04). My H1B visa is expiring in Nov 2004. My company will file for an extension. However my company may not give any letter saying they will apply for extension. Also extension might be applied only in October.

    My question is:

    1) Is there a chance for their VISA to get rejected because my H-1B VISA expires Nov 2004 ? or will they get VISA just for 2 months (Sept - Oct end)?

    2) Also, my in laws are with me and planning to go back to India in Aug 2004. Should i wait for the visa application for my parents until my in laws go back to India?

    Thanks

    1. They will not get visa just for 2 months. Don't need to worry.

    2. Does't matter
